MyCPI, our client portal at my.copyrightpower.com, keeps getting better. The latest updates are now in beta.
New: see where your works are registered
For every title you can now see with which society we registered it, and whether that registration was accepted, is still pending, or needs action. No more guessing, no more emails to ask.
Did you know?
- Copyright and neighbouring rights, per title. For each work you can see both: the copyright side (writers and publishers) and the neighbouring-rights side (performers and master owners).
- How we registered your work. You can check the registration details we submitted, so you know your data is right.
- Your next payment. MyCPI shows how much your next payment will be, together with your statement and your self-billing invoice. We pay directly into your bank account.
In development: register new titles yourself
We are exploring a way to register new titles straight from MyCPI, one by one or in bulk, with your audio files and metadata. With a way to follow every title as it moves through the process: received, processed by CPI, registered at the societies and accepted.
FAQ
How do I log in? Go to my.copyrightpower.com and log in with your account. Working with us but no account yet? Contact us and we will set it up.
What do “pending” and “action needed” mean? Pending means the society has not confirmed the registration yet, that can take a while. Action needed means something is missing or does not match, for example a split or an identifier. We follow up, and we may ask you for details.
What is a self-billing invoice? An invoice we draw up on your behalf for the royalties we pay you, so you do not have to send us one. It sits next to your statement in MyCPI.
When is my next payment? We pay out every quarter, directly into your bank account. MyCPI shows the amount of your next payment in advance.
Can I already register new titles in the portal? Not yet, we are still exploring it with our clients. For now, keep sending new titles to us as you do now, and we will register them for you.
Who sees my data? Only you and the CPI team working on your catalogue.
